Overhaul of main lift cylinders on Link Spans

RL Engineering looks after the maintenance of the Dunoon link spans. We always strive for continuous improvement and are the trust worthy service provider that take a strategic approach to solving problems. Due to the size of the cylinders, working at height became a challenge which our engineers effectively overcame while working on the leak. We removed the cylinders from link spans by cutting the upper part of the cylinder lock frame and brought the cylinders to our site for their repair and service. We then fitted back the cylinders in such a fashion that it can be easily removed again for maintenance or repair if required. Argyle and Bute were happy and satisfied with our solution given by redesigning the cylinders on link spans.
